Your Stay At Anupaya

We’ve gathered everything you need to settle in, slow down and make the most of your time here.

This place was created out of a deep love for nature, slow living and the kind of rest that feels hard to come by in everyday life. What started as a small, simple idea has grown into something we feel incredibly grateful to share.

Our hope is that your time here feels grounding, spacious and quietly restorative - whether that means slow mornings on the river, long walks in the woods or evenings by the fire.

We’re so happy you’re here.

Before You Arrive

Check in is between 4pm - 10pm. If you need to arrive outside of this window, just reach out and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

When you arrive, pull up to the main lodge and we’ll be there to welcome you, get you settled and hand over your keys!

Life At Anupaya

Anupaya is more than just a place to stay - it’s a small, living piece of land that we’re slowly tending and growing.

Throughout the property, you’ll find gardens, open space and pockets of life everywhere you look. We keep chickens, bees and goats, grow food seasonally and are always working towards a more thoughtful, connected way of living.

You might hear the chickens in the morning, see the goats wandering nearby, or catch the light moving across the river at the end of the day. It’s quiet, but it’s so, so ALIVE.

We sincerely hope you take your time here - slow mornings, long walks and simple, unrushed days.

Things to Do

Most days here are best spent slowly - on the beach, in the river or wandering the land.

If you feel like exploring a little further, we’ve put together a guide to some of our favourite local spots - from quiet trails and lookouts to simple and delicious places to eat or grab a coffee.

Explore The Area

House Guidelines

We’ve kept things here intentionally simple. A few gentle guidelines help us care for the land, the cabins, and the experience for everyone who stays.

Quiet Evenings

We ask that noise is kept to a minimum after 10:00 PM so everyone can enjoy the stillness of the property.

Visitors

Only registered guests are permitted on the property unless arranged with us in advance.

Smoking

To help keep the land clean, safe and enjoyable for everyone, smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property.

If needed, there is a designated area just outside the entrance where you’ll find a receptacle for disposal.

Composting & Waste

We’re a Certified Wildlife Habitat and caring for the land is a big part of what we do here.

All food scraps and organic materials are composted and returned to the land - combined with garden waste and what comes from our chickens and goats - and turned back into rich soil that feeds the gardens each season.

You’ll fin compost bins and recycling options in your cabin. Thank you for taking a moment to sort things thoughtfully.

A Note on the Cabins

Our cabins are intentionally simple - a blend of rustic charm and quiet luxury, grounded in the surrounding landscape.

They’re designed to feel comfortable and easy, while still connected to the land, where you’ll notice the sounds of nature, the changing light and the sense that you’re truly in it, not separator form it.

Departure

Check out is 11am.

Before you leave, we just ask a few simple things:

Wash and put away all dishes

Gather your belongings and do a quick check of the space

Leave the cabin as you found it

That’s it! We’ll take care of the rest.

Safe travels and thank you for being here.

We hope your time here felt slow, restful and just what you needed - and we’d LOVE to welcome you back again soon.
