Everything Slows Down Here

Anupaya Cabin Co - A Nature Retreat for Rest & Renewal

Anupaya was born from a desire to live a little differently - closer to nature, more connected to the seasons and less caught up in the rush of everyday life.

Set on twelve wild acres along the Ottawa River, we created a place where there is less to do and more time to simply be. A place for long days outside, good food, fires after dark and the kind of time together that can be hard to find at home.

Anupaya is our invitation to step away from the noise for a little while, settle into a slower rhythm and come home feeling more like yourself.

“You have one life. It’s complex and beautiful and yours. Let it be real and inconvenient and magnificent. Let it be disastrous and real and stunning. Remember, this is your life, your path, the pathless path.”

— Anupaya Manifesto

A Different Kind of Stay

Our Cabins - Designed for Comfort & Connection with Nature

Nine cabins. Twelve wild acres. 1,200 feet of private beach.

Our cabins are tucked between the forest, gardens and shoreline, each with everything you need to settle in and stay awhile - beautiful beds, full kitchens, private decks, fire pits and plenty of space outside your door.

Spend the morning on the beach, take a canoe out on the river, wander the trails, read on your deck, make dinner over the fire. There’s no itinerary here. The days are yours.

A kitchen corner with a window, beige tiled backsplash, black countertop, and upper and lower cabinets. On the countertop, there is a black coffee maker, two ceramic mugs, and two wooden salt and pepper shakers. A black shelf above holds a black teapot, a glass carafe, and two white containers. An electrical outlet is on the tiled wall.
View from a porch looking out on a sandy beach by a lake at dusk. There are cone-shaped tents on the beach, a person sitting in a chair near a small campfire, and string lights hanging from the porch roof. Mountainous landscape in the background.

Join us, we think you'll like it here.

"Adopt the pace of nature: her secret is patience."

— Ralph Waldo Emerson
