Slow Down, Rest, Replenish
Our Cabins
No two cabins at Anupaya are exactly alike.
Our collection includes both lovingly restored Classic Cabins and newly built Deluxe Cabins. While every cabin offers the same peaceful setting, private beach access, luxurious king-sized beds, full kitchens, private fire pits and thoughtful amenities, they each offer a different style of stay.
Our Classic Cabins are thoughtfully restored three-season cabins, full of character and the timeless charm of a traditional Canadian cottage. They celebrate a simpler way of staying, where being closely connected to nature is part of the experience. If you love authentic, rustic cottage living, fresh air, open windows, campfires and the nostalgia of a classic Canadian cottage, you’ll likely feel right at home.
Our Deluxe Cabins were built from the ground up with contemporary design, upgraded construction, larger windows and elevated finishes. They offer the same peaceful setting and connection to nature, with the added comforts of a more modern cabin experience.
Whether you choose an Original Cabin or a Modern Cabin, you’ll wake to birdsong instead of traffic, spend your days by the water and end your evenings around the fire beneath the stars.
Deluxe Three Bedroom Cabin
Our Deluxe Three Bedroom Cabin is one of our signature year-round cabins, thoughtfully designed for families and groups looking for a little extra space to slow down together.
Inside, you’ll find a beautifully renovated eat-in kitchen with stone countertops, high-end appliances (including a dishwasher), a luxurious bathroom, warm hardwood floors, three spacious bedrooms (two king beds and a double-over-single bunk bed), and a comfortable living room centred around a cozy gas fireplace.
Just a few steps from the beach, the cabin overlooks our gardens and the river. Outside, you’ll find a large wraparound deck, a private wood-fired hot tub (available September through June), a BBQ and outdoor dining area, plus your own dedicated fire pit and beach space.
To help you explore the property, the cabin also includes a private canoe for paddling the Ottawa River and four sets of lightweight snowshoes for winter adventures.
Sleeps up to 7 guests.
Wood-fired hot tub available September through June.
Pets are not permitted. Open year-round.

Anupaya is for people looking to slow down and reconnect with nature.
If your ideal getaway is mornings with a coffee on the deck, afternoons by the water, campfires under the stars and a quieter pace of life, you’ll probably feel right at home.
Our cabins are nestled in nature on a private beach, so you’ll experience the sights and sounds that come with it - fresh air, birdsong, sandy feet, changing weather, wildlife, and yes, the occasional insect. At Anupaya, nature isn’t kept carefully outside the experience - it surrounds you.
If you’re looking for a hotel-style stay with identical rooms, sealed windows and an urban resort experience, Anupaya may not be the right fit - and that’s okay. We believe the right guests are the ones who come here to embrace nature, not escape it.

Absolutely! Summer in Canada wouldn’t be the same without them.
Every cabin has its own fire pit on the beach and a complimentary stack of firewood waiting on your deck when you arrive.
Additional bags of firewood are available throughout your stay for $10 each.
Campfires are permitted whenever local fire regulations allow. During periods of high fire risk or fire bans, all outdoor fires must be extinguished and suspended in accordance with municipal regulations.
When you’re finished with your fire, please use the buckets provided to extinguish it with river water rather than covering it with sand, which damages and buries our fire pits.

Yes! We love dogs.
Dogs are welcome in most of our cabins for $30 per night, with a maximum of two dogs per cabin.
To ensure everyone enjoys their stay, dogs must be:
Declared at the time of booking.
Leashed whenever they’re outside your cabin.
Under their owner’s control at all times.
Not left unattended in cabins or elsewhere on the property.
Kept off furniture and bedding.
We know pets are family - we’re pet lovers too. These guidelines simply help us create a safe, comfortable and enjoyable experience for every guest (and every dog!).

Absolutely. We love welcoming families who enjoy spending time outdoors together.
Anupaya isn’t designed around organized activities or high-energy entertainment. It’s a place for slow mornings, beach days, paddling, campfires, reading, exploring the woods and simply being together.
Many of our guests choose Anupaya specifically because it’s quiet. They come here to rest, reconnect and enjoy the stillness of nature. While laughter and play are a wonderful part of cabin life, we ask that children are supervised and that excessive yelling, screaming and outdoor noise are kept to a minimum so everyone can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.
For many families, Anupaya is an incredible fit. For others, it may not be.
If your family enjoys slowing down, exploring nature and respecting shared quiet spaces, we think you’ll absolutely love it here. If your children are happiest in louder, more active resort environments, another destination may simply be a better fit.
We encourage every guest to spend a little time browsing our website and photos before booking - they do a pretty good job of capturing the experience we’re trying to create.
-
Yes! We have canoes, life jackets and paddles available at no additional cost for the duration of your stay! Please note that paddling is not without risk and all guests who choose to venture out on the water and make use of our equipment do so at their own risk. Unfortunately, we do not offer paddling instruction and require that anyone paddling our boats sign a waiver and attest to having adequate knowledge of safe paddling protocol and technique. For those who do, there are some incredible spots to explore right off the beach so please feel free to ask for suggestions!
-
Absolutely. Deep River is located 5 minutes away from our resort and has a beautiful fully stocked grocery store, health food store, zero waste shop and LCBO.
-
Not really - and that’s by design.
We understand that some people head off on vacation hoping for a weekend of glorious debauchery with friends and family. We genuinely support that choice… there are so many wonderful places where that kind of celebration is embraced.
But it isn’t Anupaya.
Anupaya was created as a place for rest, renewal and slowing down. It’s somewhere to hear the river, gather around a campfire, paddle at sunrise, read a book on the beach and reconnect with the people you’re with.
That doesn’t mean you can’t laugh, celebrate or stay up around the fire with your favourite people. We simply ask that your enjoyment doesn’t come at the expense of someone else’s peace.
Many of our guests choose Anupaya because it’s one of the few places left where they can truly experience silence, stillness and quiet outdoors. To help preserve that experience, outdoor music isn’t permitted, and we ask everyone to be mindful of their volume - especially during the evening.
If you’re looking for a lively resort where the music is loud and the party goes all night, we’re probably not the right fit. If you’re looking for somewhere to slow down, breathe deeply and reconnect, we think you’ll feel right at home.
